The new Flat Handy FluorCam FC 1300-H and the GFPCam FC 1300-H/GFP are innovative, lightweight, portable devices designed for time-resolved chlorophyll fluorescence imaging.
These devices are versatile and perfect for examining leaves, small plants, leaf segments, mosses, lichens, seeds, fruits, roots, tissues, or algal and cyanobacterial colonies in plates.
Both models can be used in the field with a battery pack or in the lab connected to an electric source. The GFPCam FC 1300-H/GFP also supports GFP imaging.

These compact instruments feature a high-resolution CCD camera and a small, flat LED panel that provides accurate directional illumination. The novel flat panel design enhances sample placement flexibility, utilizing orange-red light for measuring pulses and either white or royal blue light for actinic illumination and saturating flash. The Flat Handy FluorCams are easily portable systems, operable via an external power supply or batteries. Handling larger leaves, such as tobacco, is made easier with an optional leaf clip that includes a gentle lock/release mechanism. 

The two versions capture fluorescence signal images at any experiment phase and display them using a false color scale. They support full kinetic analysis and allow for the imaging of fluorescence transients induced by actinic light or saturating flashes. Users can customize the timing and amplitude of actinic irradiance via user-defined protocols.

Each one of these devices comes with a laptop pre-installed with our comprehensive software package. The package offers full system control through a Wizard interface and includes commonly used experimental protocols, data acquisition, and image processing tools. 
For more advanced users, this software provides options for automatic triggering of multiple protocols.

FC 1300-H Flat Handy FluorCam
The FC 1300-H is an innovative, lightweight, and portable device designed for sophisticated time-resolved chlorophyll fluorescence imaging.
The FC 1300-H guarantees a 40 × 40 mm field of view and is equipped with a high-resolution camera, a chlorophyll fluorescence emission filter, and a new flat LED light panel utilizing red-orange, white, and far-red LED-derived light sources.
It comes complete with a stand, power source, control PC, the comprehensive FluorCam10 software package, and an electronic user’s guide, this system is perfect for conducting photosynthesis research in the lab or in the field with the power access.
Available is an optional battery pack to enhance mobility and expand research capabilities.

The FC 1300-H/GFP is tailored to meet the extended needs of our customers, the FC 1300-H/GFP facilitates both time-resolved chlorophyll fluorescence and GFP imaging.
The portable device offers a guaranteed 40 × 40 mm field of view and features a high-resolution camera with two exchangeable filters for chlorophyll and GFP fluorescence emission.
The FC 1300-H/GFP includes a new flat LED light panel that utilizes red-orange, royal blue, and far-red LED-derived light sources. Equipped with a stand, power source, control PC, the FluorCam10 software package, and an electronic user’s guide, the FC 1300-H/GFP is ideal for conducting detailed plant research either in the lab or outdoors with power access.
